Effective January 1, 2010 AKC entry forms will indicate how your dog should be measured. And your height card will no longer be required with your entry.

The new check box selection added to the AKC entry form looks like this:

[] My dog needs to be measured
[] My dog has a temporary height card
[] My dog has a permanent height card

In most cases you will not have to do anything. If you already have an height card on file then you do not need to update this information, it will be done automatically. If you do not have an height card uploaded to your Agility JOT account then it will appear as ‘My dog needs to be measured’ on the entry form. However, if you have a temporary height card for your dog then you will need to update the field on the dogs Agility JOT registration page, which can be found on the ‘My Dogs’ page from the registration icon for the dog in question.

Agility JOT will ‘X’ the choice you have indicated for the dog in question based on the dogs AKC registration information.
