Answer

How to read the 'Titles Working Toward' page for titles which are calculated automatically by Agility JOT.

If you have a line which looks like this: You are "working toward" the PD2 title. You do NOT HAVE your PS2 title. You HAVE one qualifying score in both Snooker/P-II and Jumper/P-II and three qualifying scores in GAMBLE/P-II. And you NEED one qualifying score for each. The qualifying scores you DO HAVE will be represented as a link so you may click on it to take you to those specific entries. If you have a line which looks like this: You are "working toward" the APD title. You HAVE your PS3 and PJ3 titles and you do NOT HAVE your PK3 and PG3 titles. You need 5 qualifying scores in Tournament competition. You HAVE three qualifying scores in Performance National Standard with a minimum of one. The qualifying scores you DO HAVE will be represented as a link so you may click on it to take you to those specific entries. If you have a line which looks like this: You are "working toward" the TM title. You need 10 qualifying scores in Tournament competition. You have zero in both Grand Prix and Master Team and 3 qualifying scores in Steeplechase. And it indicates you need a minimum of two in each. The qualifying scores you DO HAVE will be represented as a link so you may click on it to take you to those specific entries.

If I have a lifetime achievement award how do I get it to show if I have not entered all my qualifying scores?

Set your USDAA titles to the Master Level (or III for Performance). Then go to the "Titles Working Toward" page and for each of those classes put in the number of qualifying scores you have "previously earned" by clicking on the icon and entering the number of qualifying scores. Once you have done that the appropriate LAA title will show. Then you can set the USDAA titles you actually have and continue tracking with Agility JOT. And as you earn more qualifying scores those will continue to be tracked against your Lifetime Achievement.

How do I select the Outstanding and Superior Performances titles?

The Outstanding and Superior Performance titles are set automatically by Agility JOT. For instance, once you earn your Regular Standard Novice (RS-N) title and set it in Agility JOT you can continue to run in Novice earning more points which apply to your Novice title. Once you pass 130 points your title will reflect the Outstanding designation (RS-N-OP) and 230 for Superior (RS-N-SP). This is the case for all titles! If you have "previously earned points" then you can go to the "Titles Working Toward" page and click on the icon and enter the number of points you currently have. Then continue tracking your trials with Agility JOT.

I have set the points for a trial but they are not showing up on the "Titles Working Toward" Page.

For those venues which have qualifying points you need to enter the points in the "score" field and then you need to set the Q field to Yes. This way this particular run will be counted as a qualifying run.

How do I select the Outstanding and Superior titles?

The Outstanding and Superior titles are set automatically by Agility JOT. For instance, once you earn your Regular Novice (NAC) title and set it in Agility JOT you can continue to run in Novice earning more points which apply to your Novice title. Once you pass 100 points your title will reflect the Outstanding designation (O-NAC) and 200 for Superior (S-NAC). This is the case for all NADAC titles! If you have "previously earned points" you wish to enter then you can go to the "Titles Working Toward" page and click on the icon and enter the number of points you currently have. Then continue tracking your trials with Agility JOT.

How do I move between Starter, Advanced for the Games which do not provide titles for these levels?

There is an N/A title for Jumper, Gamble and Snooker in AAC. This provides a way to move from the Starter to Advanced to Masters without actually getting a title. But in order to get the Games titles SGDC and AGDC you need to be able to move through the Starter and Advanced levels. So once you get two qualifying scores in Starter you will be able to "move up" by selecting the N/A (Starter) for each of the games (Jumper, Gamble, Snooker, Team). This is necessary in order to have the advanced level available when entering runs for a given trial, and for tracking with "Titles Working Toward".

Why do I have so many entries on the "Titles Working Toward"?

There is no differentiation for Proficient and Skilled in Novice and Open but there is in Elite. Once you have your Open title you will need to be able to select between Elite/P and Elite/S, therefore the two are displayed and will look like the following for each class: Once you have qualifying points in either the Proficient or Skilled then the other one will no longer display on the "Titles Working Toward" page.

So how are points used for tracking titles?

In NADAC qualifying is based on points rather than individual "legs". Therefore it is important to enter both so the information on the "Titles Working Toward" page is calculated correctly. Therefore if you have a qualifying score of 5 points then you need to enter on the run page 5 points in the score field and Yes on the Q field (as seen below). This way the system will know these points are credited as qualifying points and will be added correctly. Also, if you are using the "previously earned" points then you need to put at least 1 in the qualifying legs field and then enter the number of qualifying points you have in the scored points field. This way the system will know these points are credited as qualifying points and will be added correctly.
